Michael D. Roxas

Michael D. Roxas (or “Mike”) is a distinguished Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and ASEAN Chartered Professional Accountant (ASEAN CPA) with over two decades of professional experience, both locally and internationally. As the Chairman and CEO of MOORE Roxas Tabamo & Co., he drives strategic initiatives and oversees comprehensive management functions, transforming firms into agile, resilient entities through his visionary leadership.

Mike leads MOORE Roxas Tabamo & Co., one of the Philippines' premier mid-tier professional services firms, spearheading growth and expansion across multiple regions. Previously, he served as Chairman and Managing Partner at BDO Alba Romeo & Co. His earlier roles include Audit Supervisor and Senior Associate at Moore Stephens CIS, contributing to international audits in Russia, and Senior Associate at SGV & Co. (EY Philippines), where he enhanced audit quality and client relations.

Mike holds a B.S. in Accountancy from San Beda University, Manila, and an Executive MBA from Ateneo de Manila University. He has also completed the BDO Global Partner Leadership Program (GPLP) and passed the Islamic Banking and Finance Institute Malaysia’s (IBFIM) Associate Qualification in Islamic Finance (AQIF) in 2022.

Actively participating in various professional bodies, Mike serves as a Council Member of the Financial and Sustainability Reporting Standards Council (FSRSC), National Director and Past President of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA), a member of the Interagency Technical Working Group (TWG) on Islamic Banking and Finance organized by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, and a member of prestigious organizations such as FINEX, the Management Association of the Philippines, and the Rotary Club of Manila.

Mike has received numerous awards, including the Young Achiever in Public Practice Award (2015) and Outstanding CPA in Public Practice (2022) by PICPA, along with the Distinguished Bedan Award (Accountancy) by the San Beda University Alumni Association (2024).

On a personal note, Mike is happily married to Channet Rodriguez-Roxas since 2009. They have two sons, Ulrich Von Niccolo R. Roxas (16) and Alessio Hans Benedict R. Roxas (6), both studying at La Salle Greenhills. He continues to drive innovation and excellence in the accounting field through his comprehensive expertise and unwavering dedication to the profession.
