RC Manila Receives the Remaining Php 150,000 Cash Prize for the Pasig River Clean-Up Project
RCM received the remaining Php 150,000 of the Php 200,000 prize from PRMFI for its Pasig River Clean-Up and Rehabilitation Project.

AS you may recall, RCM's Pasig River Clean-Up and Rehabilitation Project (Reviving Pasig River through Floating Trash Barriers) won second runner-up in the Search for the Most Outstanding Environmental Project by the Philippine Rotary Media Foundation, Inc. (PRMFI). The total cash prize from this competition was Php 200,000.00. Last week, RCM received the remaining prize of Php 150,000.00 from PRMFI, in addition to the Php 50,000.00 we received at the District level.
The project, which was implemented during the term of PP Hermie Esguerra (RY 2022-2023), stands out for its innovative use of floating trash barriers, a method that has proven effective in combating the river's pollution. This ongoing project underscores RCM's commitment to environmental sustainability and community involvement.
