RC Manila Mobilizes Disaster Relief for Typhoon Kristine Victims

THE Rotary Club of Manila’s Emergency Disaster Relief Committee quickly responded to the nutrition needs of communities affected by Typhoon Kristine in specific areas, including Noveleta, Cavite and Legaspi, Albay; Sorsogon, and Camarines Sur in the Bicol region. After assessing which community required the most assistance, the committee coordinated with sister club President Neil Andal of the Rotary Club of Legaspi Central for Legaspi, Albay; Past Dir. Beda Fajardo, who coordinated for Sorsogon through the Rotary Club of Metro Sorsogon; Assistant Secretary Arick Carranceja, whose hometown is in Camarines Sur; and Past President Hermie Esguerra.
