Message from Immediate Past President Eduardo “Jujut” V. Enriquez III
Marking the club's 106th year, the Immediate Past President reaffirms the Rotary Club of Manila's purpose of service for lasting impact.

We celebrate a remarkable milestone—the 106th year of the Rotary Club of Manila, the oldest and largest Rotary Club in Asia. It is a moment to honor our storied past, renew our commitment to Rotary’s timeless ideals, and usher in new leadership with hope and resolve.
Since our founding in 1919, the Rotary Club of Manila has been at the forefront of meaningful service— championing nation-building, empowering communities, and shaping leaders in both public and private life. Our projects have continuously reflected Rotary International’s Seven Areas of Focus: from supporting education and economic development to providing clean water, protecting the environment, and promoting peace. We have also been unwavering in upholding the Four-Way Test, the ethical backbone of every Rotarian’s decision and deed.
Tonight, as we install our new officers, we reaffirm our purpose—to serve not for recognition, but for lasting impact. To build not monuments, but bridges. To lead not for titles, but for transformation.
We are especially honored by the presence of our international guests and sister clubs, whose friendship reminds us that Rotary’s reach knows no borders, and its spirit, no limits. Your presence deepens our bonds and strengthens our shared commitment to “Service Above Self.”
To our incoming officers, may you carry the torch with courage, compassion, and clarity. To our past leaders, thank you for the foundations you’ve laid. And to everyone present tonight—thank you for being part of this journey, one that began over a century ago and continues with greater purpose today.
Here’s to another year of inspired service. Mabuhay ang Rotary Club of Manila! Mabuhay ang Rotary International!
Yours in Rotary,
