Message from PGD Alexander “Alex” Cureg

Dear Fellow Rotarians and Community Servants,

Our beloved Rotary Club of Manila, the First in Asia, will mark its 106th Anniversary this year. We intend to honour the glorious tradition that was built through the decades by our esteemed predecessors who made Rotary what it is today. We honour them as we honour our comrades who have toiled amongst our ranks in seeking good for humankind.

In keeping with the spirit of this year's theme – "Our Destiny, Our Legacy, Rotary" – we are taking the bold step of establishing a dedicated fund to support the Club's service projects throughout the year. As incoming Chairman of the RCManila Foundation, and together with my spouse Anna, I will make an initial donation of Five Hundred Thousand Pesos (P500,000) during this commemorative event. It is our hope that this act of generosity will inspire others – fellow Rotarians and friends alike – to follow suit and contribute to this meaningful cause.

Congratulations to the incoming officers of the Rotary Club of Manila and The RCManila Foundation, Inc. I wish you success and looking forward to working with you. On behalf of my lovely and ever-supportive, Anna, I wish everyone longevity, joy and more blessings to share with others!
