PDG Vince Carlos joined the Rotary Club of Manila in 1975 and was Club President in 1982-1983.

PDG Vicente “Vince” J. Carlos joined the Rotary Club of Manila in 1975, with the classification of “Aviation Law.” He became the Club President in 1982-1983, the second youngest in the club’s history. He holds the distinction with his father as the only father and son who became Presidents of RCM in its 106 years of existence. He served as District Governor of then District 381 in 1990-1991. During the Rotary International Convention held in Mexico City, he garnered 4 out of the 8 international awards conferred by then President Paulo V. Costa. He was acclaimed by then-President Costa as “The Champion, the best district governor in the world.” He has maintained a perfect attendance record of 50 years. He has attended a total of 38 Rotary International Conventions. He has served Rotary International as a member of several committees and task forces, and has represented the R. I. President in some district conferences. He is a recipient of the “Service Above Self” Award from Rotary International. He is a Major Donor and Benefactor of the Rotary Foundation and has received the Distinguished Service Award and Citation for Meritorious Service from the Rotary Foundation. He was accorded the “Serving Beyond Your Year” Award by the Philippine College of Rotary Governors.
