Dr. Claver P. Ramos, a UP College of Medicine graduate of 1962, is Founding Medical Director of the National Kidney Foundation Hospital.

Rotarian/Dr. Claver P. Ramos is a respected figure in the Philippine medical community, known for his lifelong commitment to excellence in medicine, education, and public service. A graduate of the University of the Philippines College of Medicine, Class of 1962, Dr. Ramos began his journey in the healing profession with a strong foundation in academic rigor and a heart for service. Following his medical training, Rtn/Dr. Ramos pursued a career in academic medicine, serving for many years as an Associate Professor at his alma mater, the UP College of Medicine. In this role, he mentored and trained future generations of Filipino physicians, leaving a legacy of academic excellence and professionalism. A pioneer in the field of nephrology, Rtn/Dr. Ramos currently maintains a private medical practice at the Makati Medical Center (MMC), where he is recognized for his clinical expertise, compassionate care, and dedication to patients with kidney diseases. His contributions to nephrology extend beyond clinical work—he is the Founding Medical Director of the National Kidney Foundation Hospital. Through this institution, he helped advance kidney healthcare services in the Philippines and promoted better awareness and treatment for renal diseases. Through decades of medical service and professional leadership, Rtn/Dr. Claver P.
