ROTARIAN J. Alfonso L. Katigbak visited the RC Manila office for the first time on October 11, 2025. Rtn. Al was holding the Gavel of Friendship, a concept of the late PDG Frankie Roman. This Gavel travels to various Rotary Clubs, and each club’s name is affixed to its head.

Arsenio Nicasio Katigbak Luz was the son of Segunda Katigbak, Jose Rizal’s first love. “My great-grandfather is Mariano Katigbak, brother of Segunda, which means my grandfather Felino is the first cousin of Arsenio.”
