An Automation Engineer at DENSO Philippines Corporation, Jolo represents a new generation of Filipino professionals whose ideas are helping reshape industries beyond traditional manufacturing.

Born in 1999 and raised in Cabuyao, Laguna, he earned his degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Pamantasan ng Cabuyao, where he developed a strong foundation in automation systems and intelligent technologies.

Shortly after joining DENSO in 2023, Jolo distinguished himself through the development of an Automated Nutrient Dosing System for hydroponics. The project addressed one of the most labor-intensive aspects of hydroponic farming: the manual monitoring and adjustment of nutrient levels, a repetitive process prone to human error and inconsistency. Jolo designed a system capable of monitoring nutrient parameters, calculating exact requirements, dispensing the precise dosage, and verifying nutrient levels automatically. By automating the process, the system significantly reduced labor hours, improved efficiency, and produced more stable and uniform crop quality.

What makes Jolo especially admirable is his ability to apply advanced engineering concepts to practical agricultural challenges.
