A Call to Lead: Supporting Safer Schools and Protecting Our Youth
Every child deserves to learn without fear. As leaders of the Rotary Club of Manila, we have an opportunity to help turn that conviction into action.
I strongly urge each of you to support and attend *“Addressing School-Based Violence: A Multisectoral Forum on Preventing Nihilistic Violent Extremism (NVE),” organized by Chairman *Coco Mauricio* and co-hosted by the *Rotary Club of Manila.*
The forum brings together stakeholders from government, law enforcement, education, child protection, and other sectors to address a shared responsibility: preventing violence and protecting young people. Its discussions will focus on recognizing warning signs, understanding online threats and their consequences, strengthening reporting and response, and helping schools, parents, and communities intervene early.
