Two More, and Counting
The Arch Klumph Society welcomed two more Filipino Rotarians, DGN Johnny Gaw Yu and RCM’s President-Elect Jack Rodriguez, the first for Rotary Year 2018-2019.

The Arch Klumph Society welcomed two more Filipino Rotarian members, the first to be counted for Rotary Year 2018-2019.
District Governor Nominee (DGN) of District 3780 Johnny Gaw Yu was inspired to do so by Rotary International Director Raffy Garcia. A member of the Rotary Club of Cubao for 16 years, DGN Johnny reached Major Donor Level 4 before signing up for the AKS. “I have been researching about this donation process of The Rotary Foundation and so when I was asked by Director Raffy to join, I already knew what I was getting myself into,” said DGN Johnny, a businessman in the disaster management consultancy business.
President Electg (PE) Jack Rodriguez is a member of the prestigious Rotary Club of Manila (RCM), the first club chartered not only in the Philippines but in Asia. The Club will be celebrating its 100th anniversary on June 19, 2019. Before joining RCM in 2016, PE Jack first joined the Rotary Club of Madrid when he was still residing in Spain. Then he moved to the Philippines and joined RC Metro Davao before finally becoming a member of RCM where he will be the president in Rotary Year 2019-2020.
PE Jack, a successful businessman who is into renewable energy (solar, wind, geothermal) is a proud grandfather of 10. And if he is grinning from ear to ear these days, it is because his granddaughter, Katarina, was just selected as Miss World Philippines 2018.
