Proposed Special Electoral Guidelines During the CoVid-19 Pandemic
The Board endorsed proposed electoral reforms to the general membership, to be the centerpiece of the July 23, 2020 Club Assembly.
Dear Fellow Manila Rotarians,
The Board of Directors for RY 2019-2020 during the Special Board Meeting held last June 26, 2020 (Friday) approved to endorse to the General Membership the proposed recommended reforms in our electoral process, denominated as Proposed Special Electoral Guidelines during the CoVid-19 Pandemic, in the light of a foreseen prohibition of in-person mass gatherings. The Board created a committee headed by Chairman PDG Alex Cureg who submitted the recommendations to the Board and which the Board, forthwith, approved for the above stated endorsement.
In view of this development, this will be the centerpiece of our Club Assembly, today, July 23, 2020. Hence, I wish to solicit the cooperation of everyone in ensuring the seamless conduct of exchanges regarding this matter during the course of the program.
