Circle of Centennial Rotary Clubs Holds Meeting
Clubs from Manila, Shanghai, Calcutta and Seattle 4 met via Zoom on February 9, 2021, the first meeting of the two mother-and-daughter club presidents in decades.
The Circle of Centennial Rotary Clubs held a meeting last February 9, 2021 via Zoom virtual platform. Those who attended came from the Rotary Club of Manila, Rotary Club of Shanghai, Rotary Club of Calcutta and Rotary Club of Seattle 4.
The Rotary Club of Manila was represented by President Bobby Joseph, IPP Jackie Rodriguez and PD Nick Locsin. The Rotary Club of Shanghai was represented by IPP Terri Lau and PP Andrew Hill. The Rotary Club of Calcutta was represented by PP Saumen Ray. The Rotary Club of Seattle 4, mother club of the Rotary Club of Manila, was represented by President Jeff Borek, District 5030 Governor Cathy Gibson and IPP Kim Moore.
The meeting served as a historic moment because for the first time in decades, the President of the Rotary Club of Seattle 4 met with the President of the Rotary Club of Manila.
