Historical Background of the Tourism Awards
The Tourism Awards began in Rotary Year 2004-2005 to recognize outstanding personalities in the tourism industry; 175 awards were bestowed through RY 2019-2020.
The first Tourism Awards was presented during the presidency of Alejandro L. Yap, Jr. in Rotary Year 2004-2005.
The objective of the Tourism Awards is to recognize outstanding personalities in the Tourism Industry. A total of 175 awards have been bestowed from Rotary Year 2004-2005 until Rotary Year 2019-2020.
