STAR Rtn. Anton Mauricio Organizes Community Development and Outreach Program with JCFAP on Mental Health

Last June 29, 2021, STAR Rotarian Anton Mauricio, in response to the student community's clamor to address their mental wellness, organized a Community Development and Outreach Program with the Junior Confederation of Finance Associations - Philippines (JCFAP), the largest finance student coalition in the country covering over 200 schools nationwide.

In association with the Philippine Mental Health Association, Inc., Mauricio's Financial Literacy Partners (FLP) via JCFAP organized “Solutions for Stronger Aspirations”, with Guest Speaker Dr. Gia Sison (of the CNN Philippines medical wellness talk show, G-Talks) fielding questions about mental health during the pandemic and how to deal with it.

50 student beneficiaries were given free pocket WiFi during the virtual Zoom event, to ease their stress regarding connectivity problems. The Finance Education Center (FEdCenter) will set up a PEER COUNSELING HOTLINE ANONYMOUS for students. #itsoknottobeok
