President’s Corner
President Chito Zaldarriaga reflects on the week's session with Dr. Solidum, introduces the day's three classification talks and calls on members to bring one new member each.
Greetings Dear RCM Colleagues!
Another week has passed and here we are, thankful that the session we had with Dr. Solidum did not turn into reality by way of any major volcanic activities. Indeed, one cannot help but reflect on God’s awesome power when we regard nature’s occasional explosive displays.
Today, we have three of our distinguished members doing their classification talks for our Fourth (4th) membership meeting. I am personally delighted to hear out the rich source of talent we have in our midst. Hearing each one of them gives us an idea of their core competencies and makes one realize just how power packed our club truly is. Thank you STAR Rtn. Martin Romualdez (Representative, First District of Leyte and House Majority Floor Leader), STAR Rtn. Jet Ledda (Asec, DFA) and PP Ebot Tan (Of Counsel, ACCRALAW) for giving us your classification talks for this meeting.
Speaking of members, may I call on each and everyone today to start with your search for the candidate you have to boost our membership numbers. “Everyone Bring One”. Let us take this call to heart and start doing a short list of your friends, business associates and even relatives who you see as ideal to join our club. I encourage not just the Star Rotarians, but our other members as well to please get actively involved in this vital drive. Our goal is to double our membership base with quality members before this RY 2021-2022 is over.
Thank you everyone for your participation and involvement in our efforts! May God continue to bless us all!
Humbly yours in Rotary, FSZ
