Guidelines for the Election of the Board of Directors for RY 2022-2023
The Election Committee sets the quorum, eligibility rules and September 9, 2021 election date for the Board of Directors for RY 2022-2023.

Dear Fellow Rotarians,
I. Guidelines Regarding the Elections:
1. In order for the elections to be valid, a quorum consisting of “one third of the membership”, which is equivalent to 74 members present, should be attained on election day.
2. To be eligible to vote, a member should have paid at least the first (1st) semester’s membership dues and club project commitments by August 27, 2021.
3. To be eligible to vote and be voted upon, candidates should have paid the full year’s membership dues and other financial commitments for club project/s on or before September 8, 2021.
4. Candidates must have at least one (1) year residency in the Rotary Club of Manila at the time of nomination. Otherwise, the nominee shall be automatically disqualified.
5. Members are required to vote for no less than five (5) candidates. Ballots with less than five (5) votes will be automatically nullified.
6. The election shall be held on SEPTEMBER 9, 2021.
7. The results of the elections will be announced immediately after the canvassing of the votes.
II. Mode on the Conduct of the Elections
We will be adopting the ELECTION RUNNER program used for the election of the Board of Directors of RY 2021-2022.
