Manila Rotarians Donate Food for Pandemic-Stricken Hospicio de San Jose
Manila Rotarians responded to Sister Corrie Evidente's plea after twenty-nine residents of Hospicio de San Jose tested positive for CoVid-19.

Manila Rotarians responded to the plea of Sister Corrie Evidente when twenty-nine (29) residents of Hospicio de San Jose tested positive for CoVid-19 while fifty-three (53) became persons under investigation (PUI), prohibiting them from leaving the vicinity, thus, preventing them from procuring fresh produce and frozen goods to feed its four hundred and fifty (450) residents.
Hence, RCManila Foundation, Inc. Chairman and Programs Committee Chairman PVP Hermie Esguerra immediately sent a truck full of freshly harvested fruits, vegetables and Kurobuta meat from his farm in Batangas last August 15, 2021.

With the aim of extending help to supply additional fresh produce, RCManila Foundation, Inc. and the Rotary Club of Manila partnered with Zagana Inc., an online farm to kitchen source for fresh produce and frozen goods, headed by STAR Rtn. Joshua Aragon. Thus, there was a turnover of tarpaulins of both the Rotary Club of Manila and the RCManila Foundation, Inc. between RCManila Foundation, Inc. Chairman and Programs Committee Chairman PVP Hermie Esguerra and STAR Rtn. Joshua Aragon at Esguerra Farms and Stud, Inc. in Lipa City, Batangas.
