1990. Best Practice in Total Quality Management (TQM) and Enterprise Agreement. This Agreement, first time ever in Australia, was signed among Sheraton Towers Melbourne, the National Labor Union of Australia and the Australian Federal Government. The award was personally given by the Australian Prime Minister Paul Keating. The Enterprise Agreement (Collective Bargaining Agreement) became the benchmark that was adopted throughout Australia by Labor and other various industries. The TQM model is still being used today.
