Greetings RCM Brothers!

As we barrel down the third (3rd) week of March and approach the holy week, most of you would most likely be planning a much awaited vacation of sorts with your loved ones and friends. May I remind one and all to continue to be vigilant amidst the still existing menace of CoVid-19 which has yet to be declared an endemic.

Following last week’s interesting meeting with the Secretary of the Department of Energy, we are all looking forward to the stabilizing of fuel prices which has kept everyone on tenterhooks these past few weeks. Let us hope that we will be getting more normal prices which affect everyone who needs to be mobile these days.

May I make this call once again to please sign up for the DISCON this year wherein which we plan to acquire one (1) table, often for (10) persons at least. Kindly signify your intent to join by advising ES Anna Kun Toledo accordingly.

This is to reiterate our Everyone Bring One campaign. Gentlemen, this call still stands! Please make a short list of your own personal contacts, friends and business associates whom you can vouch to be a member in our beloved club! We are still gunning for this!

Today, we are expecting an Inspirational Speech from Rotary International President-Elect Jennifer Jones, on the Rotary International Presidential Initiatives abs Theme! We will also have the presentation of our new Ambassadors of Goodwill, namely, PAS Joel Valdes, STAR Rtn. JB Pallasigue and STAR Rtn. Teddy Tee Jr. who will be presented by Circle of Centennial Rotary Clubs Chairman PD Nick Locsin. Thereafter, we will be presenting the Rotary Club of Manila Jorge B. Vargas Athlete of the Year Award. Committee Chairman DGND Jackie Rodriguez will be presenting the award to Ms. Hidilyn Diaz through Rep. Monico Fuentebella, Commissioner of the Philippine Sports Commission.
