President's Corner
President Chito Zaldarriaga welcomes new member Joey Sarasola and calls on members to sign up for DISCON and support the TOWER Awards.
Greetings Fellow RCM brothers!
Another formidable new STAR Rotarian joined our ranks last week! Welcome STAR Rtn. Joey Sarasola! That brings our members today to 225! And we will continue to increase this number. Gentlemen, PLEASE TAKE THIS CALL TO HEART. Everyone, bring one. Everyone, bring one. Please let us all do our part. Everyone, bring one. Kaya natin ito!
Although the TOWER Awards is still scheduled for May 26, 2022, let us all tap our spheres of influence in participating in this flagship project of the Rotary Club of Manila.
From April 22-23, 2022, we will be having the DISCON which will be held live in the OKADA Hotel where we had our spectacular Centennial Celebration. We are trying to fill up a table of ten (10) for our Club at the very least! It is vital that we get as many of our members on board for this milestone event since the pandemic, so guys, please sign up for this TODAY to avail of the early bird discount! So far we only have six (6) seats covered so I am hoping to get at least four (4) more to sign up today.
As we approach the Holy Week next week, it is but proper that we have no less than Rev. Fr. Alex Balatbat conduct an ecumenical recollection session amongst us so we can all refocus on what Holy Week is all about. Thereafter, we will likewise be hearing our very own STAR Rtn. Paco Magsaysay share his “cool” or should I say “icy” Classification Talk with us today.
Enjoy this day and the rest of the week. May God bless us all! Cheers!
Francisco “Paco” D. Magsaysay
