The Week That Was

The 6th Regular Meeting had Rtn. Robi Joseph as Program Moderator/ Facilitator. Sounding the bell, Pres. Hermie Esguerra called the meeting to order.

Humbly calling upon our loving Father God, PAS Henry Go led the Invocation and Special Prayer.

The Philippine National Anthem was made more meaningful and alive by the Rotary Club of Manila Audiovisual Presentation , featuring captivating images of Manila Rotarians.

The World Famous Music Chorale Audiovisual Presentation of the RC Manila Hymn and the singing of the Philippine Rotary Hymn again electrified everybody’s Rotarian spirit.

STAR Rtn. Micray Gonzales led the recitation of the time-honored Four (4) Way Test.

The Club’s Visiting Guests and Rotarians were duly acknowledged, giving importance to their presence in the meeting.

The World Famous Chorale sang RCM’s signature Welcome Song to the delight of the guests and visitors.

Rtn. Robi Joseph , Program Moderator/ Facilitator, acknowledged the week’s birthday celebrants, namely Rtn. Henry Villarica , Rtn. Ray Davis , Sec. Edwin Hernandez , PP Romy Nones , Rtn. Jappy Pascual , SAA Nagi Zeitouni , Rtn. L.A. Sevilla and PVP Farid Schoucair . This was followed by the World Famous Music Chorale singing the happy birthday song.

Pres. Hermie Esguerra once again highlighted the Rotary events that took place in the past week during his President’s time.

STAR Rtn. Paul Anthony T. Koh introduced Guest Speaker Dr. Romeo Lloyd Trovela Romero , Diplomate of the Phil. Board of Urology, Fellow of the Urological Association.

Rtn. Alvin Ampil introduced Guest Speaker Rtn. Jose “Brix” Sicat Pujalte, Jr., M.D. , Medical Center Chief II, Philippine Orthopedic Center, Department of Health.

Guest Speaker Rtn. Jose “Brix” Sicat Pujalte, Jr., M.D., Medical Center Chief II, Philippine Orthopedic Center, Department of Health delivered an interesting and informative talk.

Guest Speaker Dr. Romeo Lloyd Trovela Romero , Diplomate of the Phil. Board of Urology, Fellow of the Urological Association, complemented the Dr. Brix’s talk and delivered an equally captivating talk on men’s health.

A short open forum immediately followed right after the speech of Guest Speakers Rtn. Jose “Brix” Sicat Pujalte, Jr., M.D. , and Dr. Romeo Lloyd Trovela Romero . Among who participated were: Rtn. Joel Valdes , PD Issam Eldebs , PD John Cenica , Rtn. Bertel Bertelsen , Pres. Hermie Esguerra , IPD Amading Valdez and Dir. Raffy Alunan .

Pres. Hermie Esguerra delivered his closing remarks and thereafter, adjourned the meeting.
