Finance Educators Association (Fin.Ed) 3rd Quarter General Membership Meeting (GMM) “ESG in Finance: Focus on Sustainability”

Mr. Antonilo D. Mauricio, the Chairman and Founder of the Finance Educators Association (Fin.Ed), a non-profit organization founded in 2012 for finance educators and practitioners, attended its 3rd Quarter General Membership Meeting (GMM). The event was held on November 19, 2022, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, with the theme "ESG in Finance: Focus on Sustainability," as part of their mission to develop strong leaders and be a catalyst for change and innovation in finance education.

The webinar aims to educate the general public about the factors to evaluate companies and countries on how far advanced they are with sustainability. They had two relevant topics: ESG 101, which was discussed by Mr. Manuel "Dmi" Lozano, Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Corporate Information Officer of Aboitiz Equity Ventures, Inc. since 2015, and Sustainability Innovations in Finance, which was discussed by Ms. Rhodora Brazil-De Vera, Deputy Director at the Supervisory Policy and Research Department (SPRD), Financial Supervision Sector (FSS) of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP).

The meeting was preceded by updates on Fin.Ed membership, including discussions on the organization's current and future projects, programs, and events.
