17th Weekly Membership Meeting: A Recap

Program Moderators

Sec. Edwin Hernandez and BLA Raoul Creencia were tasked to be the General Assembly moderators. They began by inviting Manila Rotarians to be seated for the proceedings to officially commence.

Call to Order

Sounding the bell, Pres. Rafael “Raffy” M. Alunan III called the General Assembly (17th weekly membership meeting) to order.

Invocation

With a beautifully written prayer, PP Felix Francisco S. “Chito” Zaldarriaga led the invocation, which set the tone for the General Assembly.

Philippine National Anthem / RCM Hymn

Rotary Members took a position of respect as they sang the Philippine National Anthem. This was followed by the singing of the RCM Hymn.

President’s Time

President Raffy Alunan reiterated his call for unity, solidarity, and team work; punctuating his message with carefully chosen songs, which were played and to which the membership sang in unison. The full text of the President’s message is featured in another page.

Professional Facilitator

Mr. Michael Santos of Brick Management Consulting was called upon to navigate the proceedings of the General Assembly. He navigated the discussion which touched upon crucial topics, and presented the result of the Health Check Questionnaire that was circulated to the RCMers. Mr. Santos also led the discussions and group work sessions among the members. There was an active participation on the members in attendance, who all shared their inputs and answers to the questions that were posed.

After thanking the facilitator and all attendees, the meeting was adjourned by Pres. Raffy Alunan.
