PRMFI Selects RC Manila’s “Reviving the Pasig River” Project as the Most Outstanding Environmental Project Award for RY 2023-2024 at the District Level

The "Reviving the Pasig River" Project of the Rotary Club of Manila, undertaken during RY 2022-2023 under the leadership of IPP Hermie Esguerra, won the Most Outstanding Environmental Project Award for RY 2023-2024 at the District Level. This project was selected by the Philippine Rotary Media Foundation, Inc. (PRMFI), the organizer of the contest.

Indeed, with this added feather to its cap, the Rotary Club of Manila continues to build on its legacy in its 105 years of sterling existence, reasserting itself as the First in Asia and the quintessential club worth emulating.

Since the project won at the District Level, it will now compete at the National Level, and the winners will be awarded on June 29, 2024.

As a result of this victory, the club received the District Level prize of Php 50,000.00, which has been deposited in the Rotary Club of Manila's bank account. Here is the bank statement with the amount circled in red ink.
