Work Experiences

Worked as a political analyst and professional journalist until 1990 and covered many wars.

Joined the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) Foreign Service in 1990 and served in the following countries:

Nigeria as a resident ambassador (twice)

Republic of Benin and Republic of Togo as a non-resident ambassador

New Delhi, India as Charge d'Affaires

Republic of Tunisia - PLO Political Bureau

Arrived in the Philippines four years ago (December 2019) to establish the Embassy of the State of Palestine in Manila and currently serving as the first Palestinian Ambassador to the Republic of the Philippines.

Education Qualification

M.A. in Journalism from University of Karachi, Pakistan in 1981

B.A. Hons. from University of Karachi, Pakistan in 1979
