Empowering Education: A “Teachers in a Box” Donation to a School in Kauswagan, Davao

RCManila Foundation Trustee Ingmar Bertelsen donated two “Teacher in a Box” units, in the name of the Rotary Club of Manila, to a school in Kauswagan, Davao.

RCMANILA Foundation Trustee/ Rtn. Ingmar Bertelsen donated two “Teacher in a Box” units, in the name of the Rotary Club of Manila, to a school in the remote area of Kauswagan, Davao. The teachers can access the internet but not Facebook and other social media platforms. The total cost of this shared donation by Trustee Bertelsen was US$ 551.00.

“Teacher in a Box” is a humanitarian project initiated by the Rotary Club of Paddington, Australia, that is using donated technology to bring on-line education to the off-line world through the Rotary network.
