RCM & RCMFI Christmas Gift-Giving at Hospicio De San Jose Orphanage

ON December 19, 2024, a heartwarming Christmas Gift-Giving Celebration was held at the Hospicio de San Jose Orphanage in Manila, coinciding with the birthday of PD Phillip Ong, who spearheaded this meaningful event. The celebration began with a sponsored lunch at 11:30 AM, followed by the formal program at 12:30 PM, bringing together children, teens, elderly residents, staff, and generous supporters to share the spirit of the season.

A highlight of the occasion was the donation of Php 1 million, raised from the proceeds of the Essence Art Exhibit held on September 10, 2024. This generous contribution, along with gifts of toiletries, canned goods, and dry food items, directly benefited the 166 residents of Hospicio de San Jose, emphasizing the true essence of Christmas—love and generosity.

Adding to the festive atmosphere, the UP Singing Ambassadors delivered a heartfelt performance, serenading children, elders, staff, and guests with beautiful carols. Their moving rendition created unforgettable moments of joy and connection.

The event was a resounding success, spreading smiles, warmth, and hope to everyone involved and leaving a lasting impact on the community.
