Ajit Sharma

AJIT Sharma is a storytelling and communication coach with over 15 years of experience mentoring leaders, entrepreneurs, development professional, authors, media personalities, social innovators, and changemakers across Asia and Africa. His work helps individuals and organizations craft compelling narratives, powerful presentations, and high-impact communication strategies.

Ajit has spent more than 15 years with the global TED community. He has been serving as a Global TEDx Ambassador since 2012 and has received the prestigious TEDx Change Award from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation for his contributions. He spoke at TED Global in Edinburgh in 2011 about the history of tribal storytellers from India.

In 2016, he became the Speaker Coach for TED Talks India, where he worked on TED’s first-ever global television series hosted by Shah Rukh Khan. His work also includes coaching for Asian Development Bank (ADB Knowledge & Innovation Talks) and also leading the Restoration Academy Talks with GIZ in Africa.

Ajit is a graduate of Harvard Kennedy School’s prestigious Public Narrative, Storytelling & Leadership program. Through his experience over the years he has now developed a unique program called ‘What Are You Saying’ where he coaches individuals & organizations to use storytelling to inspire action, drive change, and build influence.
