Consul General Mangalile Inducted Honorary Member of RC New York

After the moderated discussion, Consul General Mangalile was inducted as an Honorary Member of the Rotary Club of New York. A member of the Rotary Club of Manila (RCM), Consul General Mangalile exchanged banners with Mr. Cemil Mujdat Altay, President of RCNY. Established in 1909, RCNY is the sixth Rotary Club in the world. Chartered on June 1, 1919, RCM is the first Rotary Club in Asia.

The speakers’ series, organized by RCNY and supported by the Society of Foreign Consuls (SOFC) and the Consulate General of Turkiye in New York, brings together Consuls General serving in New York, Rotarians, and the business community in a convivial gathering designed to provide each featured speaker the opportunity to share insights on global affairs, bilateral relations, cultural diplomacy, and their respective nation’s engagement with the United States and the international community.
