Swinging for Service: The 4th Rotary Club of Manila Golf Tournament

A Day of Fellowship, Excellence, and Giving Back June 22, 2026 | Sta. Elena Golf Club, Sta. Rosa, Laguna

HELD on June 22, 2026, at Sta. Elena Golf Club, the 4th RCM Golf Tournament brought together Rotarians, sponsors, corporate partners, and golf enthusiasts for a day of fellowship, friendly competition, and shared purpose.

The morning started early. By 6:00 a.m., players were checking in and exchanging stories before the day ahead. Opening ceremonies followed, and at 8:00 a.m., the shotgun start sent everyone off to their assigned holes at once. What came next was several hours of good golf on one of the country's top championship courses, played by people who came to enjoy the game and support something far bigger than the scorecard.

Every peso raised helps sustain the programs of the Rotary Club of Manila and the RCManila Foundation, Inc., supporting education, healthcare, community development, and humanitarian assistance for those who need it most.

Of course, the day was about more than fundraising. It was also a celebration of Rotary fellowship. Old friends reconnected between holes. New partnerships took shape over shared laughs and the occasional missed putt.

Throughout the course, players showed the kind of sportsmanship and camaraderie that reflect the Rotary spirit of Service Above Self, proving once again that fellowship and generosity go hand in hand.

Awarding Ceremony

The tournament concluded with an awards program celebrating the day's outstanding performances across the various divisions, followed by a raffle draw and acknowledgments for the generous sponsors and partners whose invaluable support and belief in our mission made the entire event possible.

One of the highlights of the ceremony was the Announcement of the Fun Hole Winners by Reggie Yu, RCMFI Immediate Past Chairman and RCM President-Elect. Participants who excelled in the tournament's special challenge holes were recognized and applauded for their outstanding performances.

The ceremony concluded with the Closing Remarks by Golf Committee Chair Karlo Castro, who thanked everyone for their participation, generosity, and unwavering support. He acknowledged the dedication of the Organizing Committee, volunteers, sponsors, and golfers, emphasizing that the tournament's success reflects the Rotary spirit of Service Above Self and its continuing commitment to uplifting communities through meaningful service.
