MOPC Judiciary Night

The MOPC held its Judiciary Night on August 7, 2026 at the Fairmont Makati, with Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo as keynote speaker.

Manila Overseas Press Club (MOPC) held its Judiciary Night on August 7, 2026, at the Fairmont Makati, featuring Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo as the guest of honor and keynote speaker and First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos as guest of honor.

A RARE EVENT. Nine Supreme Court justices, led by the Chief Justice, Alexander Gesmundo, including an entire SC division, attended the MOPC Judiciary Night. Also in attendance: The First Lady, a lawyer; the Justice Secretary; the ARTA Secretary; retired SC Chief Justice Art Panganiban; the NBI Chief; and members of the Impeachment Prosecution led by Lorna Kapunan, and many pro-Duterte elite lawyers.
