If you could have dinner with one person—living or dead—who would it be, and why?

I would like to have dinner with Priscilla Meirelles. I just saw on her Facebook page that she just celebrated her 43rd birthday in Siargao last September 2026. I enjoyed reading her Facebook posts, and I was inspired to make 15 Facebook Posts about her on October 13, 2026, on my other Facebook Page, Entertainment for Age 60 in 2025. On my main Facebook page, J Alfonso L Katigbak, I also made 1 Facebook Post about her.

What’s one hobby or interest that most people in Rotary probably don’t know you have?

I enjoy time travel as a hobby. I always imagine myself going to different places, on different dates, and talking to so many people.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received, and from whom?

The best advice I have received is from my granduncle Arsenio Nicasio Katigbak Luz. He said, "We are mere continuers of the past, who aspire to renew the glory and pride tasted in other times already passed."

If you had one free day with no meetings, emails, or responsibilities, how would you spend it?

I like to spend my free day at the mall, watching a movie and having a good meal.

What’s one item on your bucket list that you hope to accomplish someday?

Two items on my bucket list are to be recognized by both the Rotary Club of Manila and the Chamber of Commerce of the Philippine Islands in 2033, as a grandnephew of Arsenio Nicasio Katigbak Luz, who served as their President 100 years ago in 1933 at the Age of 45.

What is your favorite part of Rotary?

My favorite part of Rotary is the Development of Acquaintance as an Opportunity for Service. I enjoy having a one on one conversation with My Fellow Members - talking about life in general - Movies and Music, Travel and Leisure, Family Business and Family History, Religion and Politics.
