Journalism has a special and unique power to touch the lives of ordinary citizens. Through responsible gathering, recording, verifying, and reporting of information of public importance, journalists indeed play a key and impactful role in society.

Thankfully, we have in our midst a number of print and broadcast media personalities who have remained true to the ideals of the profession; and whose impressive and expansive careers have clearly and positively contributed in building a well-informed citizenry. Specifically in talk shows and public affairs programs, the charisma, wit, and erudition of hosts make the discourse helpful, more interesting, and intellectually stimulating.
