Animal Welfare Outreach Program in Collaboration with PETA Asia

RCMANILA Foundation, Inc. (RCMFI), in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Manila, Junior Chamber International (JCI) Manila, PETA Asia, Ampon Alaga, Biyaya Animal Care Foundation, and the local barangay, conducted a one-day community veterinary clinic.

Held on September 27, 2025 in Barangay 72, Tondo, Manila, the initiative provided vital free services including sterilization (spay and neuter), vaccination, and essential veterinary care to approximately 620 dogs and cats. The aim was to curb animal overpopulation and mitigate the spread of preventable diseases, particularly rabies, thereby safeguarding both public and animal health.

The total cost of the project is P350,000.00

Secretary Anton Mauricio shared a story about a rescued dog that was later adopted, illustrating how a small act of kindness can give profound meaning to others.

PDG/Chair Alex Cureg delivered a message, emphasizing the importance of raising awareness not only about animal bites and rabies, but also about other potential diseases transmitted by animals and pets. He also extended his gratitude to all participants, volunteers, partners, and donors who contributed to the project's success.
