Disaster Relief Operations

July 23, 2025. Donation of over 400 plastic mats. Brgy. 128, Balut, Tondo, Manila; Brgy. 105, Maginoo Street, Tondo, Manila. Actual Project Cost: Php75,000.00

July 24, 2025. “Sagip Mangingisda” Donation of Relief Goods to Affected Fishermen. A joint project with the Rotary Club of Cavite Export Processing Zone, RC Cavite Uptown, RC Dasmariñas, and RC Rosario. RC Cavite Premier, RC Imus Independencia, RC Malate Prime, and RC Tagaytay City also participated. Beneficiaries: 80-100 families. Brgy. Ligtong, Rosario, Cavite. Actual Project Cost: Php25,000.00

July 27, 2025. Donation of relief packs. Beneficiaries: 100 families. Brgy. Calizon, Calumpit, Bulacan. Actual Project Cost: Php25,000.00

August 2, 2025. Distribution of Medicines in Partnership with RC Obando Centro. Brgy. Catanghalan, Obando, Bulacan. Actual Project Cost: Php25,000.00

August 3, 2025. Donation of relief packs. Beneficiaries: 100 families. Brgy. Pinalagdan, Paombong, Bulacan. Actual Project Cost: Php25,000.00

August 17, 2025. Second Wave of Relief Operations. Donation of sacks of rice. Beneficiaries: 125 families. Joint effort with RC Calumpit and the Philippine Construction Association (PCA). Brgy. Gugo, Calumpit, Bulacan. Actual Project Cost: Php25,000.00

Animal Welfare Outreach Program in Collaboration with PETA Asia

RCMFI, in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Manila, Junior Chamber International (JCI), PETA Asia, Ampon Alaga, Biyaya Animal Care Foundation, and the local barangay, conducted a one-day community veterinary clinic in Barangay 72, Tondo, Manila on September 27, 2025. The initiative provided free sterilization (spay and neuter), vaccination, and essential veterinary services to approximately 620 dogs and cats. The aim was to curb animal overpopulation and reduce the spread of preventable diseases, including rabies, thereby safeguarding both public and animal health. The total cost of the project is P350,000.00.
