Emmanuel Sto. Domingo Lopez, more popularly known as “Manny” Lopez, is a distinguished Filipino entrepreneur, economist, technology management executive, and advocate of political and socioeconomic reforms. With decades of experience spanning both the public and private sectors, he has built a remarkable career marked by leadership, innovation, and public service.

A graduate of the University of the Philippines with a degree in Social Science majoring in Economics and Political Science, Mr. Lopez further pursued post-graduate studies in business, economics, and law in both the Philippines and the United States, including studies at University of California, Los Angeles and California State University, Los Angeles.

Throughout his professional journey, he has held key executive positions in various industries, including technology, real estate, agriculture, security services, and e-commerce. He served as President and CEO of Computech Electronics International, Inc., with operations in the Philippines, Hong Kong, Germany, and the United States. In government service, he likewise served as President and General Manager of the National Food Authority-Grainscor with the rank of Undersecretary under the Department of Agriculture.

Mr. Lopez has also been actively involved in civic, political, and reform-oriented initiatives. He currently serves as Lead Convenor of the Philippine Leadership Forum Series and the People’s Constitutional Reform Initiative, advocating for governance reforms, direct democracy, national development, and people empowerment.

Known for his strong commitment to public welfare and nation-building, Mr. Lopez continues to be a respected voice in discussions on economic policy, constitutional reform, leadership, and emerging technologies.
