DGN Hermie Esguerra delivering his message:

We do not recruit people into Rotary merely to increase our numbers. We invite people into Rotary because we believe they have something to contribute—and because we believe Rotary can make life more meaningful through service.

Every Rotarian was once a prospective Rotarian. Somebody saw something in you. Somebody believed you could make a difference.

Now, we have the opportunity to do for someone else what someone once did for us. That makes recruitment personal rather than numerical.
